Cavities Tooth Decay:-
Our teeth are made up of calcium, phosphorus and many other minerals. The hardest part of the human body is teeth but without care or awareness, they occur a condition of tooth decay. This causes pain in teeth and we are unable to eat food. If it happens in our front teeth then it can even affect our face too, due to which we start losing our focus, confidence and this pain is not bearable in any situation.
Causes of Tooth Decay:-
This is a very common problem and because this occurs in our mouth that’s why we often ignore it.
3 main reasons behind Cavities Tooth Decay are:
Foodstuff which contains a large amount of carbohydrates and sugar can cause tooth decay. Moreover, things like candy, sweets, bakery products (cake/pastries etc.) and potato chips are more likely to damage our teeth.
Oral Hygiene Practices:-
Poor oral hygiene ultimately leads to tooth decay brush your teeth twice a day. This can decrease the growth of bacteria’s in our mouth and helps in removing food completely from our teeth. Proper hygiene includes brushing your teeth regularly, flossing and using mouthwash.
Presence of Bacteria in Mouth:-
Even we clean our teeth properly then also there are some bacteria’s in everyone’s mouth. But the growth of bacteria’s is increased or decreased, it only depends on how effectively we clean our teeth. If there is a large growth of bacteria’s than there is something which is responsible for it.
As soon as we finish our meal, bacteria’s start functioning and form a clear, sticky layer called plaque. Plaque contains bacteria that feed on sugar in the food we eat. Brushing teeth twice a day can stop these bacteria’s. As the bacteria are feed, they start making acids and this attack the teeth after we eat. These acids destroy tooth enamel causing tooth decay.
Symptoms of Cavities Tooth Decay
The first symptom of tooth decay is the brown stain on any surface of teeth which increases in some time and changes into a hole. Food starts accumulating in it. This increases the activity of bacteria’s and works through the core of teeth creating a cavity.
You can experience strange sensitivity to temperature in the infected tooth. Cavities often cause sensitivity to hot or cold liquids. When a cavity gets larger and closer to nerve then it can cause an excess amount of pain in teeth’s which goes into the whole mouth, face and then in body.

If there is tooth decay or cavity in your teeth then visit a doctor and ask about the treatment of your tooth decay problem. If the decay is not serious than the doctor will remove the decay and repair the tooth with a filling. This can be of some color as of teeth or can be of a metallic color which depends on us.
But if there is a problem of a toothache then the dentist will have an x-ray of those teeth. After this doctor will tell you about its treatment. Sometimes the nerve in the middle of the tooth can be damaged and then the dentist will need to carry out root canal therapy and put a cap on the teeth. Moreover, if the tooth is so badly decayed that it cannot be repaired then the dentist may have to take the tooth out and can fix false denture there.
