  1. Take Out Your Contact Lens At The End Of The Day:

Avoid wearing contact lenses for more than 18 hours a day. By wearing contact lenses for a very long time, you can permanently damage the eyesight, and your eyes can trouble you.

Do not sleep by wearing contact lenses unless your doctor specifically tells you to do this. Your eyes need a regular supply of oxygen, and the lenses stop the flow of oxygen for the eyes, especially while sleeping, so doctors recommend not wearing contact lenses at night.

Do not swim with tightly fitted goggles when you also wear contact lenses. It is more appropriate to wear prescription goggles if you need it. While wearing a contact lens, there is no problem in taking a shower, but keep in mind that soap or shampoo should not be in the eyes.

Always follow the instructions of your ophthalmologist or manufacturer for the use of contact lenses and solutions. Always wash your hands before using them.

  1. Remove Your Eyes Makeup At The End Of The Day:

Take time to remove eye makeup before sleeping. Never sleep with makeup. If you sleep with the eyeliner or the mascara, then it can stimulate your eyes.

Always keep your makeup remover pads close to your bed when you are very tired of your night’s routine.

  1. Use Allusion-Free Eye Drops With Restraint:

The use of allergen-reduced eye drops in the allergy season can help reducing redness and relieve itching, but using it daily can cause problems. This can cause redness again in the eyes which do not respond to the drop.

Allergen-less eye drops do their work by reducing blood flow to the cornea so that your eye can get the right amount of oxygen. Therefore, when there is swelling or itching in your eyes, it means that the eyes are not getting enough oxygen through the blood. It is not ideal because the eyes muscles and tissues need oxygen to function. Due to the lack of oxygen, the eyes can have swelling and scar.

Carefully read the level of eye drops, especially if you wear contact lenses. Many eye drops cannot be used while wearing contact lenses. Ask your ophthalmologist that any eye drops can be used with the use of contact lenses.
