Ingrown Toenail:-
Ingrown toenail causes swelling and pain in the toe. This is a condition in which corner or side of toenails grows into flesh and put pressure on surrounding tissues. This results in the increase of skin on that area. This situation is due to wearing tight or small shoes, so to get rid of this, you must wear loose shoes while walking because there may be swelling in feet during walking. Moreover, in pedicure, you should use toenail clipper for cutting your nails in a circular shape from corners.

Bunion:-
It means, bumps forms on the joint at the base of big toe. This situation is mainly seen in those people who wear tight and narrow shoes. This causes increases in toe towards fingers of feet which is the reason behind swelling and pain in feet. This can be developed in patients of arthritis. Therefore, you should choose your shoes carefully. They should have a wide toe box.
Moreover, you must take rest after 20 minutes of walk. People suffering from this problem should wear loose shoes to relax their toes. Ultrasound or other physical treatments can be used to treat this disease. But in serious cases, surgeries are recommended.

Achilles Tendonitis:-
It occurs when the tendon that attaches the calf muscle to heel becomes painful. Sudden, increase in physical activity also causes this problem. The main symptom of Achilles tendonitis is pain and swelling in the back side of your heels when you walk or run. Moreover, walking on unplanned surfaces also put pressure on tendons and results in swelling and pain. So to prevent this situation avoid walking towards heights. It weakens the tendons and in serious condition, stops walking or decreases it. You should keep ice pack 3-4 times a day on swollen area for 15-20 minutes.

It causes low back pain. Generally, it occurs when we try to move our body repeatedly. This can be due to overuse or improper use and also with muscle fibers are abnormally stretched or torn. Arthritis or swelling in surrounding nerves can also cause pain in this area. Walk straight so as to keep your backbone in a good position. You can use heating pads for relief too.

Neuroma:-
A neuroma is a painful condition in which growth of nerve tissue frequently found between the third and fourth toes. It causes pain burning sensation, tingling or numbness between toes and ball of the foot. Morton’s neuroma is generally due to high heels and tight shoes.
This problem is more common in females as compared to males because their feet are of different structure and they also wear narrow shoes or high heels. This causes sharp, burning pain in the foot while walking. Surgery is also suggested in a serious case. Therefore patients should wear better fitting shoes which have separate toe made of silicon so as to keep the toe bone in a correct position.

Bursitis:-
This condition affects the small, fluid-filled sacs called bursal that cushion the bones, tendons, and muscles near joints. Most common location for bursitis is in shoulder elbow and hip. Moreover, whose one leg is larger than other one suffers more from this problem.
Walking for a long time can also be the reason behind this. So do cycling, swimming etc. instead of walking. Along with this, take OTC anti-inflammatory medicines to get rid of the pain.
