Everyone loves to drink while playing sports, eating food, feeling dehydration, especially in the summer season. But as the mercury rises, it is more important to focus on fluids, because water is the most essential nutrient required for our body and helps to stay hydrated.

Half of our body is made up of water which helps in the proper functioning of our body. It helps in maintaining the body temperature and removing the wastage from our body and carrying the oxygen cells. You feel so dizzy, fatigues and moody when you are dehydrated.

A glass of water is the best option to stay hydrated, but there are plenty of options available which can help you to stay hydrated without even drinking water. You can drink these flavored water fruits and vegetables rather than drinking simple plain water. These fluids are a rich source of water that keeps the balance of H2O right.

As per the old rule, you are supposed to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. After some time it feels bored to drink that much of water regularly. (Drinking water is necessary, but making a habit of drinking 10 glasses per day is not easy). Normally 20% of our daily need of H2O comes from foods and especially from vegetables and fruits.

But still it is very important to drink plenty of water daily, especially in the season of summer, but you can also complete your thirst by eating these 24 fruits and vegetables which I am going to mention below.

    Zucchini to Stay Hydrated:-

Zucchini contains 95% of water and that’s why it is on top of the list of highly hydrated foods list.  You can add this food in pasta and in noodles. 

    Watermelon to Stay Hydrated:-

Watermelon is a season fruit which comes in summer only. It contains 92% of water which is very useful in the season of summer to keep you hydrated for all day. It contains nutrients like vitamins A, B6 and C, antioxidants and lycopene. Avoid drinking water with it. 

   Celery to Stay Hydrated:-

It is a lean, green and cancer-fighting machine which is filled with 95% of water. This food has the potential to inhibit the growth of cancer cells, especially in the pancreas. Peach contains 88% of water. This is a very delicious fruit. It is a very versatile juicy summer fruit. A peach stores a huge range of nutrients vitals which are good for health.   Jicama to Stay Hydrated:-

Jicama has 90% of water and also high in iron, vitamin C, vitamin E, fiber and potassium.  You can add it in watermelon, mango, pineapple and with lemon juice too.
